Olathe East Choirs
Establishing Choir presence through brand strategy
A new choir director at Olathe East High School saw a lack of clarity in the communication being delivered to students and the local community about the choir program. The choir program had a variety of names it was called and more than two images which were used to represent the program. I was hired to develop a logo to represent the program which could be implemented into all communication channels. Together we collaborated on one name and one logo image to use throughout social media, newsletters, website, and for printing on gifts, apparel, and signage. I was also hired to design a variety of materials for the program throughout the year which helped develop a brand identity. Below is the logo and samples of design work displaying the updated brand.
Brand Name: OE Choirs
Brand Colors: Navy & Orange (to match Olathe East H.S. brand)

Website Refresh with Logo implementation and brand colors.
Social Media: A secondary logo was created to accommodate the small profile area.
T-Shirt Design:
The first year t-shirt design helped to establish a strong brand identity by only featuring the logo in brand colors.

Program Cover & Layout:
The programs were highly visible materials handed out to attendees at each choir concert. The covers featured photographs and illustrations pertaining to each concert theme, and one layout was used to insert rotating content; always with pops of orange and larger areas of navy.

Matching Posters & Programs:
For special event concerts, poster advertisements were paired with an elegant program layout to distinguish for concert attendees that this event was unique. The poster represented below features an original illustration of various musical icons created by me.
